At the beginning of this year I had hoped that I would read more books this year. Two weeks ago I realized we were half way through May and I had only read about 4 and a half books. I needed to kick it up! I was inspired by another blogger's book list. She maps out which books she wants to read each month. I love lists. They help me actually get stuff done. So I have made my list for 2012. I've included the books that I have already read this year so I can feel like I am making progress :-) Even if I only read half of these books I will be happy! My baby's beautiful face got all banged up today. She fell at school and landed on her face. She ended up with a golf ball bump on her forehead, swollen nose, cut upper lip, and her front tooth is loose again. She is quite a trooper. She was more upset about having to come home early from school.

This morning Ellie and I were at Target and I bought her a suitcase for our vacation we are going on in a few weeks. She was super excited about the new suitcase. When I was making lunch I noticed it was concerningly quiet in the house. I found Ellie in her room. She had dragged her new suitcase up the stairs and had taken every piece of clothing from the the bottom rack of her closet and stuffed it in her suitcase.
