My neighbor is the birthday party planner diva. Everything was amazing. First there was a jumper for the 25 kids! That would have been plenty for me. But she didn't stop there. When each kid arrived she took their picture and made them a Lego photo badge. There was a Lego scavenger hunt all over the house and yard. The kids searched for clues and got a prize at the end. Next there was a nerf gun war. She had the whole garage transformed into a battle zone. It was set up with giant cardboard forts. There was even a fog machine and strobe lights!!! She hand made a Lego pinata and a Lego cake. She is incredible! Happy Birthday, Jackson!!

Ellie posed like this on her own. I heard her saying "cheese". I turned around and saw her sitting like this. Too cute!!!
She was VERY determined to pick this one up. "I can do it all by MYSELF". She is too funny!!!
I thought we were past the "put everything in the mouth stage"...
Sorry, Ellie. Life is not all rainbows and butterflies.
The boys LOVE Eli.

We had an absolutely amazing hike in Anza Borrego. It didn't start off so great but thankfully it improved! When we got to the park entrance it was packed with cars. There was a sign that said the park was full. It didn't look like we were going to be let in but we did! Then when we were getting out of the car there was a lady parked next to us that was just plain mean!!! Anyway the day was great after that :-)
This is a chuckwalla lizard. Look at Mason's expression. He didn't want to touch the thing at all!! If he only knew how many critters like this his daddy had as a kid!!
Surprise!!! Look who we found at the beginning of the hike!!!!!! DON!!!! He was there with his roommates. We didn't even plan it. How funny. He ditched his buddies and hiked with us on the way up the trail. The boys love Don :-)
It was a little warm. The kids did GREAT. No complaining until we were on the way back to the car :-)
She did great. She loved traveling in the backpack.
There were so many flowers all the way up the trail. Absolutely beautiful!

We had a last minute idea to go to the snow today. The Whites were available to join us too!! So it was after 11 by the time we were headed out. When we exited the freeway and started to head up the mountain we came to a stop. EVERYONE in So Cal had the same idea. It was going to be dark by the time we actually made it to Big Bear. We could have jogged up the mountain faster. It was crazy!!! We pulled over and decided to turn around. But how were we going to get though all these cars going up and down the hill?? OH, no problem. Josh inches his van through both directions of traffic and blocks it both ways and just stops. He then waves us through. Renee said yeah he will just use me as a human shield and I'll just block the oncoming traffic driving down the mountain. Those crazy Whites! I thought there was going to be a riot and and outcry coming from the back of our van as we turned around and left the direction of the snow, but no the boys were awesome. Renee said that when they turned around Eli said "But mommy the snow is THAT way". Poor kids.
So "Plan B" was to go to Castle Park. It is like Mulligan's on steroids or a Riverside Disneyland. I had never been there before but it looks like we will be going back a lot in the next few months. When you buy a one day ticket you can come back as much as you want till April for FREE. Pretty cool! We had so much fun with the Whites. They are a wonderful family. We love the Whites!

We attended Pat and Eleni's beautiful wedding last week. She was absolutely gorgeous! Eleni also has inner beauty. Her character is just as radiant. What a wonderful couple that desires to serve and glorify God. We are so happy for them! The one picture I got of them was blurry :-( I can't wait to see Tracy's pictures of them. Where was Tracy when I got married?? So anyways here we are with some fabulous friends on a beautiful evening.
